Regarding our experience shopping for a home with John Murphy of RE/MAX Elite:
My wife called RE/MAX to schedule an appointment with a realtor, but that particular realtor was out of town, so John was kind enough to fill in. We went out twice to look at homes with John, and he was extremely helpful and patient with us first-time home-buyers. We found one we liked and setup an appointment to make an offer, but due to our financial situation, we had to cancel. John was extremely understanding and let us know that we could give him a call anytime we felt ready.
Two months later, we began to look at homes again with John, and it seemed as though we had looked at every home for sale in the area. John continued to work with us and we ended up finding a brand new home that we loved, and it that was right in our price range! We made an offer and had multiple issues from contract to closing, but John kept working to resolve them and continued to assure us that everything would work out. In the end, we ended up closing on time with everything in place, thanks to John.
We have since lived in our new home for a month now and absolutely love it! It’s the perfect starter home for us, and we could not have found it without John Murphy. We can only hope that when we look for our next home a few years down the road that John is still available to work with us. He made a very hectic process fun and much less stressful than my wife and I ever imagined it could have been. Thank you for everything John!
